If more “alternative” music were noisy pop like One For The Team instead of formulaic boy band one (interchangeable) hit wonders, “alternative” music wouldn’t suck so much. One For The Team aren’t redefining music as we know it, but they write consistently sweet tunes with just enough buzzing guitar so your girlfriend can go dance upfront, and you can hang at the bar with the other boyfriends and not want to get in a fight, just to get the taste of vapid teenage heartache out of your mouth.
