Why does Austin have to be in Texas? I mean, what the fuck? It’s this oasis of awesome surrounded by a whole state that couldn’t begin to comprehend what the hell they’re doing in there. It’s bands like Complete Control and Krum Bums that make me wish I had more reasons to travel that way. Well-played and aggressive as shit punk with the intensity of ’80s hardcore and something that’s distinctively their own. Only three songs apiece here. Sort of a waste. I think split CDs should be four songs each, minimum. This ain’t a 7″, hoss. Load that thing up.
