Lost In The Beauty of Innocence (Metropolis)
by DJ Carrion

Following the trend of releasing titles from indie bands such as Electric Six and Ken, Metropolis Records unveils Norway’s Delaware, the latest band involved in the branching-out from the standard industrial/EBM/synthpop veil the label has donned for years. Delaware offers a sound that strays very far from the standard styles you’re used to on the label, skillfully blending melancholy and pop music together. At best, they steal Keane, Placebo, and Snow Patrol blueprints and create their own crisp, melodic Britpop-inspired sound.
