The Arockalypse (The End)
by Scott Hefflon

Gwar gone glam. Resistance is futile, and bound to be bloody. C’mon, ya gotta love these guys. They open with “Bringing Back the Balls to Rock,” and you can see the zombie stripper grinding and the drummer twirling his sticks, specks of blood flying. Part Lemmy croak and layered glam harmonies, the closest I can come is “Poison” by Alice Cooper, one of those late ’80s creepy old guy tunes with buff young guys who never seem to wear shirts, but sure have a lot of hair and always seem to be in windy rooms. Cheese by masters is damn good cheese. Accept’s Udo puts in an appearance, as does Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider. There are tunes called “Who’s Your Daddy?,” “Good to Be Bad,” and “The Night of the Loving Dead.” Imagine if Whitesnake, Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction, Gwar, and Blind Guardian were all chopped to pieces and sewn back together with a big cock swagger, a huge, toothy smile and a penchant for buggery.
