Glad to know unsigned melodic punk bands can still palm-mute and rampage. Always kind of afraid bubblegum punk and NOFX-style riffery will die off, and mid-’90s style will be wholly replaced by, like Motion City Soundtrack. Makeoutmusic‘s singer may miss most of the higher notes, and the snare drum sounds marching-band crisp, but the band has heart. Fourth release, the bio states, first I’ve heard, but it came with stickers and postcards, and that’s always nice. Get ’em on the mp3 CD, help ’em spread the word.
