(Hed)p.e. to tour with Boston’s Slaine

Hot on the heels of their sold-out co-headlining tour alongside Mushroomhead, (Hed)p.e. will return to the road for a tour with Slaine from La Coka Nostra. (Hed)p.e. will also be performing at this year’s annual Gathering of the Juggalos on August 13th in Cave In Rock, IL on the main stage hosted by Charlie Sheen and featuring performances by Vanilla Ice, George Clinton and Tech N9ne.

“In today’s musical landscape, unity is more important than ever and The Hardcore Unity Tour with Slaine really represents the best hip-hop and hardcore in one package,” commented Jared from (Hed)p.e. “This will be our last tour of the year, before we hit 2012 which is an important date for the Illuminati and New World Order. We can’t wait to hit the road and bring good vibes to fans across the country.”

“I’m excited to hit the road with (Hed)p.e. for a couple months and meet my fans, and make some new ones along the way,” added Slaine. “This is the first time I’ll be touring the entire country as a solo artist in support of my new album ‘A World With No Skies 2.0′, and I’m planning on leaving everything I have as an artist on stage each and every night.”

While early (Hed)p.e. albums found the group mixed up in the rock n’ roll lifestyle, they have been reborn in recent years after embracing the socio-political side of their music. (Hed)p.e. has since picked up the torch that giants like Rage Against The Machine had once carried to become the voice for a movement that empowers youth and reveals the seedy underbelly of our current political affairs. (Hed)p.e is currently touring in support of their eighth studio album “Truth Rising“, and can be seen raising hell in their new animated video for the track “Truth Rising” at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpAwHgr9S88&feature=channel_video_title.

Slaine is touring in support of his new solo album “A World With No Skies 2.0”. To execute his dark musical vision, Slaine enlisted the help of his La Coka Nostra brothers Everlast and ILL BILL, as well as Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks to create a dark hip-hop album that hits squarely in the jaw. Slaine’s video for the track “99 Bottles” can be viewed online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIJ88VWlo3c.
