Black Stone Cherry On Tour With Chickenfoot Beginning May 9
Black Stone Cherry will be hitting the road with Chickenfoot, serving as direct support, beginning May 9, 2012 in Denver, CO. Black Stone Cherry recently finished up a U.S. headline run and will headline an entirely SOLD OUT UK tour through the end of March, then play a few select dates before going out with Chickenfoot.
The Edmonton, KY rock band recently released their moving video for their current single, “In My Blood,” which is now approaching Top 10 at rock radio. The documentary-style video follows PFC Randy Hirneisen, a 20-year-old soldier with the U.S. Army, and his journey from his deployment in Afghanistan as a ‘tanker’ to the his redeployment back to his assignment in Germany and finally to his arrival home in Augusta, Georgia where his wife, Cindy Torres, introduces him to his two month old son Randy Hirneisen Jr. for the first time.
Black Stone Cherry also just kicked off their What’s In Your Blood? web campaign, inviting fans in the United States to share their stories of what’s in their blood. Fans can submit stories through the band’s YouTube channel. A winner will be chosen by Black Stone Cherry on March 31, 2012 and the band will play a private acoustic set in the winner’s hometown for their friends.
