Savannah’s Black Tusk sound a lot like fellow Georgians Kylesa, but there are far worse bands to draw comparisons from. Their fast and heavy mix of stoner metal with hardcore punk is immediate and effective, but you can hear it start to evolve on their new tracks like “Crossroads and Thunder.”
