Alabaster premieres new song “Pendulum” on Absolute Punk

Seattle-based rockers Alabaster, who have recently released their new EP, The Villain In Me…, have premiered a new track, “Pendulum” on Absolute Punk.   The Villain In Me… was released on May 7th, 2013.  Check out “Pendulum” on Absolute Punk, here: http://bit.ly/ZmVaKA.

Alabaster is made up of five individuals who have joined together for one purpose: to bring their overwhelmingly catchy music to the masses. At the center of Alabaster is Shaina Rae. With one of the most amazing voices you will ever hear, she will blow you away with her beautiful melodies.

Shaina Rae, along with Kate Orlowski on lead guitar and Joe Bosslet on rhythm guitar, started Alabaster in Chicago.  Soon after, they made the tough decision to leave their friends and family to pursue their musical careers in the Emerald City – Seattle. There, they discovered the final pieces they had been missing: Dwayne Scott on drums and Marlon Deppen on bass.  The band’s explosive stage presence and undeniably melodic hardcore pop-punk sound landed them an opening slot for Yellowcard and six showcases at SXSW in 2013.  Their 2012 EP release “Unraveled” garnered comparison to veterans such as Paramore, Bayside and Jimmy Eat World.

Combining each member’s unique talent with a singular purpose, they are a completed puzzle ready to be shown to the world.
