The Pitchfork review of Heartless Bastards’ latest LP, Restless Ones, kicks off with an apt bit of exposition: “When it comes to live shows, Heartless Bastards bassist Jesse Ebaugh has said he wants nothing less than what he calls ‘rock’n’roll communion.'” The band have announced they are taking their rock’n’roll communion on the road in February and March around the East Coast and Midwest.
Band leader Erika Wennerstrom said, “With the great time we had this past year on the road and the release of Restless Ones, 2015 was a fantastic year! We’re ecstatic to get back out in 2016 to some great cities we missed this past year and continue to share our recent album and old favorite songs with our fans. The ‘Bastards also recently brought their fiery performance to Last Call with Carson Daly and the venerated Austin City Limits, which will air on PBS on January 30.
