Nile and Coroner Announce Spring 2027 Tour
Next spring, Nile and Coroner take on North America together: A co-headline run that puts two of metal’s most singular forces on the same stage every night, with strong guest support from Sun Abstruct and one more special guest to be announced.
Both bands arrive with their latest albums fully integrated into the live arsenal — Nile’s The Underworld Awaits Us All and Coroner’s Dissonance Theory — alongside the legendary material both bands built their names on: Live, sharp, and carrying both the weight of their history and the force of what they have become. The Underworld Dissonance Tour brings both catalogues to 31 stages across the United States: Two headline sets a night, for full impact from coast to coast.

About Nile:
Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina and Athens, Greece, Nile have been a pioneering force in death metal since 1993, known for complex compositions and a highly demanding brand of technical death metal both on album and on stage. Their thematic focus is ancient Egyptian history and mythology with a healthy dose of H.P. Lovecraft lore, delivered through brutal riffs, intense drumming, and esoteric lyrics that have earned them a reputation for technical prowess and historical depth alike. Influential albums such as Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka (1998), Annihilation of the Wicked (2005) and Vile Nilotic Rites (2019) each hold their own character, while relentless touring and a groundbreaking sound have cemented the band’s status as a cornerstone of the genre. Nile’s tenth studio album, The Underworld Awaits Us All, was released on August 23, 2024 via Napalm Records.

About Coroner:
Coroner’s sound has always lived at the edges: a collision of speed, structure, and control, built on thrash, but pulling in classical form, avant-garde twists, jazz complexity, and the cold mechanics of industrial metal. Often called “the Rush of thrash metal,” the Swiss trio helped shape what would later be known as technical and progressive thrash alongside bands like Voivod and Watchtower, releasing five critically praised records between 1987 and 1994. They stepped away in 1996 and came back in 2011 — not to rehash the past, but because there was unfinished business — with longtime live partner Diego Rapacchietti behind the kit next to Ron Broder and Tommy Vetterli. In October 2025 came Dissonance Theory, their first new studio album in over thirty years: A record that moved slow, stayed quiet, and took shape in the background, until the moment felt right to let it surface.

Dissonance Theory Tracklisting:
1. Oxymoron
2. Consequence
3. Sacrificial Lamb
4. Crisium Bound
5. Symmetry
6. The Law
7. Transparent Eye
8. Trinity
9. Renewal
10. Prolonging

Lineup:
Ron Royce – Bass/vocals
Tommy T. Baron – Guitars
Diego Rappachietti – Drums
