While keeping some of their hair-rock material for the old fans to chew on, much of the material is heavier than people might accredit the Cherry Pie boyz.
It features Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and a bunch of other bands that today’s tattooed, pierced “youth culture” victims will lap up like good consumers.
There’s gold on this compilation, and it is hoped, by this reviewer, that at least a few of these bands (especially Incinerator) release full-length offerings.
Foetus albums have always been better when they’ve had space to develop; this EP is no exception. Good as these songs are, the full-length Gash is better.
