Araya’s voice and bass have never sounded so harsh. Same goes for King and Hanneman; their skills seem to progress while they gleefully torment the masses.
Mournful acoustic and laid back, noisy guitars are the rule until the last song, “Half-Truths,” which is fun, goofy, and lightens the mood at the last moment.
