Former Dark Angel guitarist Jim Durkin with the aid of two cohorts, bassist Charlie Silva and drummer Al Mendez. Sadly, an average thrash/death metal outfit.
Long, mostly slow-moving (good for over-dramatic sex after a bottle of Nyquil), deep-voiced male Goth with Gitane DeMone adding vocals to every other song.
Stripped barer than the Hellacopters, less glam than the Backyard Babies, less greaser than The Yo-Yo’s, yet nice and dirty, thanks to Tomas Skogsburg.
A four-piece from Poland that sounds like (and worships) fellow countrymen Vader, is the most furiously technical brutal bands I’ve heard in a long-ass time.
Wowee. So fucking good. Add this to your “dreamy, poppy, touching” indie rock collection now, where it will fit snugly between Wheat and Creeper Lagoon.
Fetish, like other bands on Adeline, is hard to peg. Interesting. Unpredictable. The vocalist used to do spoken word, I hear, and he has a bit of Jello in him.
A very brutal, enjoyable death metal album, one I’ll play again and again, but it’s not the most mind-boggling one you’ll find if you look more closely.
