I haven’t found rock too provoking since Zepplin did The Rain Song (which didn’t really rock), Seade’s Perf is an excellent grab at quality atmospheric rock.
The soundscapes do drag on at times, but it’s not a tedious drone. If you want angst played by guys with 1800’s medical fetishes, this is the disc for you.
I can’t find much fault with Out Of Bounds. The songs are filled with catchy hooks and lots of breaks, and the vocals are very slick with nice harmonies.
Peppy punk about girls, loneliness, frustration (lack of girls), friends/mistakes/forgiveness (involving girls), losing/finding your way (with your girl).
Overkill was the album that showed their potential to be one of the loudest, nastiest bands of all time. The follow up, Bomber, was somewhat weak in comparison.
