Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! I like this one. I was warned when I got it. I was told, “This is really depressing.” Yeah, it sure is. I’m not gonna go slit my wrists or anything, but this CD is pretty damn good. Even the art is impressive. I hardly ever see anything impressive in album art, but it truly is cool. And not in a cheesy way either. This is kind of classy. The soundscapes do drag on at times, but it’s not a tedious drone.

Who am I kidding? Yeah, the art is cool and there are some damn good songs, but the drone does get tedious. Unless already depressed, this will only be enjoyable in small doses. If you want angst played by guys with 1800’s medical fetishes, this is the disc for you.
