The songs on Kill, Baby, Kill are a dreamy concoction of smooth pop and ragged samples. Slick keys or distorted-rantings, Sweetie skates comfortably along.
Looping samples, strolling fat man bass, mountains of metal guitars, and track upon track of screaming vocal with the hip-hop beats weaving it together.
While twangy vocals are not my fave, this REM-clone has a sizable Boston following. Rich production and good songcraft. It’s just been done many times before.
