Loud and screamy, but still tuneful (usually) screamo/destructo rock. Played with Engine Down, Hot Cross, Alabama Thunderpussy, and These Arms Are Snakes.
The sticker on the cover warned me, but I checked out the hip-hop side project of Coheed and Cambria drummer Josh Eppard anyway. It’s as awful as it sounds.
New Drive-Thru, er, Rushmore Records band. No better, no worse than any of their other bands, who all sound exactly the same, but some are cuter than others.
A nice palette cleaner. Chiming guitars, ’70s power pop. Not a bad song here, perhaps also nothing to sing in the shower either, but a consistently good CD.
Third solo of a guy from some band. While I like politics in my music like I like olives in my birthday cake, Kevin isn’t an idiot. Heartfelt acoustic stuff.
Philadelphia singer/songwriter with guest appearances by Aimee Mann, Jill Sobule, Emitt Rhodes, and Wayne Kramer. Most of it is wanna-be top 40 airy rock.
Dan Melchior apart from his Broke Revue, is a hint these are his outtakes that no one else wanted to play. Weak, first drafts from a guy who’s done far better.
