My first reaction was “why?” but my final reaction is “oh my!” I’m speaking of the Alexandre Aja remake of the 1977 Wes Craven classic, The Hills Have Eyes.
A nice, dripping-screwdriver-to-the-forehead stabbing, a penetrating tongue encounter, and a cool vulture demon who sneaks mouthfuls of people’s entrails.

I wanted to hate this update, but I can’t. It rocks. It’s funny, gory, explosive, and full of characters you can relate to either in companionship or hatred.
