Refused Are Fucking Dead is a documentary in the vein of Meeting People is Easy, in that it’s not a “band DVD” but rather an outsider’s telling of the story.
Still around after 20+ years. Despite having never been a major player in the thrash/death scene, the band have persevered without losing an ounce of potency.
While I applaud their attempts at becoming “more serious” by tackling concept albums, almost every product from such thinking has resulted in absolute garbage.
Catchy, brutal, technical, well-recorded, and gore-a-riffic as anything the band have ever done, which means there are going to be a lot of happy longhairs.
