Strangehold covers a lot of ground, and for $10, it’s a good way to check out a few you’ve heard “the cool kids” talk about, and get exposed to a few new bands.
Smack was a Finnish band who never really reached mainstream ears, but G’N’R, Nirvana, D.A.D., and Mudhoney. At least that’s what the CD’s liner notes say.
