Sorry (TVT)

Out of the Chicago scene (Smashing Pumpkins, Urge Overkill) comes Catherine, with their new release, Sorry (TVT). They may not have struggled quite as hard as most new bands do, since their drummer is married to D’arcy of the Pumpkins, which also makes them friends of Billy Corgan (of same fame), who was kind enough to persuade Butch Vig (Pumpkins, Nirvana) to produce the new record. I guess you could say they’ve had a few breaks along the way. Anyway, the album sounds great, as does their first release for TVT, Sleepy, which was produced by B. Corgan himself.
