The crowd was at first reluctant to dance to Monster Voodoo Machine‘s flood of noise, but got into it after much encouragement from the band. The singer, who looked like a deranged Spin Doctors member (not an insult, merely a description), urged the audience to stage-dive. There were two problems with this: 1) the stage was only a foot off the ground, and 2) everyone began jumping off at the same time, so there was no one left in the audience to catch them. MVM made a good connection with the crowd and were a resounding roll of thunder before the apocalypse.
