Trigger Happy – Killatron 2000 – Review

Trigger Happy

Killatron 2000 (Raw Energy/Black Mark)
by Scott Hefflon

The third album by the Toronto hardcore/punk survivalists. With ex-members of Deep End, King Pin, Monster Voodoo Machine, and SNFU, Trigger Happy has the hooks of neo-punk, the aggression (albeit tempered) of ’80s hardcore, and a pleasantly heavy guitar sound that doesn’t slip too far into metal. It’s catchy and shake-yer-buttable without being pop. Refreshing.
