Former Bad Religion guitar guy Brett Gurewitz rocks out Elvis Costello-style with the Daredevils. With only a two-song single to go with, it’s hard to get the whole picture… I hear simple, driving beats, richly reverbed guitars, surprisingly ass-ripping solos, and toweringly stacked harmonies. Brett’s voice has that nice punk-next-door sound, and all the commercial radio catchiness necessary to make this a summer single.
