Try as I may, I can’t get over the fact that they cover Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise.” Battery is a female-fronted melodic industrial electro band. They stick to the slower tempos, and try (note: I said “try”) to evoke an ominous brooding quality in the songs. Maria Azevedo has a pretty voice, but that’s about as far as it goes.
