I hope they’re enjoying themselves (they seem to be). Butterscott come across like a self-conscious neo-hippy outfit that’s derivative of Talking Heads, R.E.M., and Hootie and the you-know-whats. They seem too preoccupied with channeling their “positive vibes” to take a good, long, hard look at their song structures.
