In a world of generically good pop/punk bands, Ff stands apart as one of the most consistently decent bands I can’t think of. They never rub me the wrong way or get me running out of the room after three notes, but they never cause that blissful, far-away stare when one of their oh-so-poignant ditties comes. If you’re a fan, hey! Ff has a new album; if you’ve never heard of ’em and you’ve got a few bucks to spare, you could do worse.
