As a four-song teaser EP to the up-coming full-length, Darkside, I must admit, I was not bowled over by their ingenious approached to death metal. Snakespit vocals, kinda melodic parts alternating with hyperspeed drumming – yeah, and? When the first chords and scream of Slayer’s “Die by the Sword” came on, I did a quick about-face. Really, really nice job. Covers of Venom’s “Nightmare” and Bathory’s “Enter the Eternal Fire” follow and are also done well. As a cover EP, this is priceless.
