Knapsack / Stuntman Split (Alias)

Knapsack are like a decent, emo’d out Quicksand, with effective hard/soft transitions. Stuntman (ex-Treepeople, minus Built to Spill’s Doug Martsch) do a catchy number called “Inspiration Please!,” but I’m not sure exactly what it is I’m catching. The awkward melodies and carefully planned mistakes add a different twist to traditional pop.
