More noise terror from those swell guys down in A.C.-land. Has everyone gotten the joke yet? One noticeable change in this 52 song, 42 minute sprawl of over-distorted, mic-swallowing mass of incomprehensibility is the fact that some parts actually sound like songs. Have A.C. sold out? Who knows/cares? Some of the best parts, of course, are the song titles. A sampling: “Recycling Is Gay,” “You Got Date Raped,” “You are an Interior Decorator,” “Your Band’s in the Cut-Out Bin,” “You’re Old (Fuck You),” “The Internet is Gay,” “Ha, Ha, Your Wife Left You,” and my personal favorite, “No, We Don’t Want To Do A Split Seven Inch With Your Stupid Fucking Band.” All this and covers of “Just The Two of Us,” Supertramp, the “Hungry Hungry Hippos” jingle, 311, and the Psychedelic Furs, too.
