Radio Flyer – In Their Strange White Armor – Review

Radio Flyer

In Their Strange White Armor (Polyvinyl)
by Steve Tremain

Step right up folk, we gots some rock’n’roll here for ya. ’90s style. To wit (or away from Whit, who can tell nowadays?): Fugazi goes Northwest and takes a coffee break in Emo-Town (Pop. 13/23 of the Disenfranchised Youth Generation). In truth, it’s got a few honest atonal hooks and screams that’ll keep you listening after the “Voice lessons? Voice what?” vocals begin to wear thin. In not truth, flying buffalo, drink soybean cheese on alternate Wednesdays.
