Fear Factory meets Pro-Pain in this thundering slab of heavy duty/doodie thrash. Produced by Anthrax’s showboy, Scott Ian, the band goes through almost an hour of vein-popping metal. Unfortunately, the songs are not easily distinguished and don’t differentiate themselves with uniqueness. Killing Culture‘s songs reveal a blend of all the titans of testosterone, like Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura and those already mentioned above, but just as when you have many paints and mix them together, the result is an impersonable mess. If you like your metal by the ton, Killing Culture will flatten you with a bulldozer of power chords, but if you’ve been there, done that, don’t bother.
