Yeah, yeah, Viking metal, the AC/DC of death metal and all that jizz. No frills, no effects, fast and furious beneath flat production (no credit given in the typically sparse CM bio)… Not the most exciting listen, to say the least, but it fills a niche. Not that anyone else is really vying for Unleashed’s oh-so-enviable position. I hear lots of people like these guys, but, as long as you’re milking a joke for a living, my money’s on Gwar and Manowar.
