Hold onto your boots and braces, here come the Discocks! Solid street punk from… Japan?! You heard right, Japanese Oi! Think – one two sree chugga chugga Oi! Oi! The first five songs on the album were written by the Business, if that helps at all. The Discocks are fresh off a tour with Oxymoron and they obviously stopped off long enough in Boston to fill up their thanks list with bands like the Ducky Boys and the Trouble and to snag a picture of their show at the Rat. This band makes me happy. I think the little message on the inside cover says it all… “We hope you enjoy this LP after hard days OI.”
