You’ve heard “Atom Bomb” on tons of compilations, but didja know that the rest of the album is as good? A difficult feat in the age of computer jockeys with only one good five minute idea and 70 minutes left to fill up a CD. All the tracks have a laid-back feel, the groove nestled deep in the pocket, lyrics (where applicable) whispered and lazily rhythmic. Definitely made for the dance floor, but unlike most of that dime-a-dozen crap,Risotto is well thought out, and subtly constructed.
