Bostonians Six Going on Seven are one of the few good indie rock bands. Second pauses, alternating rhythms, and the singer’s raw voice provide songs that make you feel their passion and want to sing along with them. At times soft and melodic, at times fast and hard, these are memorable songs that stick with you after the CD ends. The whole album rocks, but “Endurance,” “Sincerely,” and “Lampwick” are my songs of choice. But this isn’t about me, is it? Six Going on Seven is setting up another tour, and they’re a fucking great live band. Once you check out one of their shows, you’ll want to bring them home with you (their music, that is).
