The name says it all. Nihil are harsh and not too happy. You want depressed industrial metal? Well, here you go. At its best, the music reminds me of Killing Joke (especially the guitars), and at worst, of being a teenaged virgin. Songs like “Shift,” “God,” and “Under Me” are some of the best examples of what this band does right: loud and heavy industrial metal that makes you want to grab your crotch and punch stuff. A real winner, go get it.
