Fracture (Nuclear Blast)

Combining elements of Korn, Machine Head, Fear Factory, and Meshuggah, it’s surprising that I have little more to say about Fracture than, “Wow! Great Production!” Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, Stuck Mojo, Strapping Young Lad, etc.) gave this his signature touch, but while it’s got the swallowed enunciation (Korn), hauntingly apathetic chorus (Fear Factory), typical metalcore roar (Machine Head, or pick from the multitudes), and choppy guitar stomp (Meshuggah), You’ll never hear this and say, “Hey, isn’t this Lostsouls?”
