Go Down Believing (Doghouse)
by Tim Den

I like this. Nice, mid-western rock ‘n’ roll with a John Cougar Mellencamp feel that conjures up images of wide open corn fields and bare interstate highways. I can totally see truckers and people with cowboy hats sitting in some bar in Indiana, playing this over and over again on the jukebox. Even though this is only a two-song single, it’s packed with more gentle touches and warming sadness than most rock ‘n’ roll records today. Genuine, working-class rock tunes that will open your heart.
