Del-Fi Beach Party – Review

Del-Fi Beach Party

(Del-Fi)
by Scott Hefflon

Cataloging the pre-sexual revolution, Del-Fi Beach Party presents the giddy, carefree exuberance of teen thrills circa 1963. Post-greaser, pre-hippie, the surf scene attracted teenyboppers and filmmakers alike. Hell, get the CD just to read the demented liner notes provided by gonzo historian Garrick H.S. Brown. The guy is such a great writer, I’d track him down and beg him to sling ink for Lollipop if he didn’t already. Over 30 minutes of snapping gum, twisting-in-bikinis, beach party fun, the majority of which has never been released on CD. Thanks Del-Fi for the memories, the good clean fun, and a keeper of a CD!
