Omaha – Non-Par Mystifications and Self Extrications – Review

Omaha

Non-Par Mystifications and Self Extrications (Doghouse)
by Tim Den

Really long, dragged out and exaggerated emo-esque songs that have an overall creepy quality to them. While that sounds interesting on paper, it’s extremely flat and boring on record. The self-indulgent, slow tempos and scarce singing make me dislike this even more. Omaha reminds me of a canvas framed with beautiful wood and decorations, but with no breath-taking art in the middle.
