Holy shit, these guys are prolific! Didn’t I get something from them just a few months back? Evil’s Toy keep it simple, straightforward, and damn do they sound good. For those unfamiliar with Evil’s Toy, they sound like old Front Line Assembly and Skinny Puppy circa Too Dark Park. Add to that a distinctive ’90s sound and you have Evil’s Toy. This album didn’t kick my ass the way their last album, Illusion, did, but I don’t think it was designed to. This is Evil’s Toy branching out. To what, I don’t know.
