Nice little ditty from former Remy Zero member Louis Schefano that showcases much more than his drumming skills. Playing all the instruments as well as doing vocals (with a little help from friend Shelby Tate), Schefano has created a gentle record that draws on folk, rock, and the kind of magic The Cure embodied in their more cheerful moods. Soothing, laid-back acoustic guitars backed by semi-orchestral keyboards provide a warm undertone to the songs, while vocal melodies reminiscent of British pop drift seamlessly yet are hauntingly effective. A very pleasant record.
