This split was originally released as a very limited-edition split, but now with both bands doing rather well, it makes sense to re-issue it. While grittier and kinda shitty sounding (in an old school way), it fills in some blanks. While both Dimmu Borgir and Old Man’s Child have sounded “better,” there’s a certain charm to hearing quickly thrown together material with less-than-huge production. Just as evil as ever, but without all the fanfare. Nice and raw. So here’s 45 minutes of archival material to fill the void between where each band started and where they are now.
