Paris, Texas is an indie rock band with many subtle influences coming together to make one rockin’, unique sound. You’ve got jazzy, playful bass with jangly guitars on top, and a singer who sounds like he could’ve fronted Nation Of Ulysses. They take the rawness of Dischord-core but add a dose of poppy vocals, making the mix very danceable but not atonal (like DC indie rock usually calls for). Mods and emo geeks, unite!
