This EP is the kinda thing that only matters if you know all the members and get the joke. It’s a return to the fast’n’furious punk roots, the kinda thing that made Boston a place that could release a record called This is Boston, Not L.A. and not get laughed at. Trouble is, it’s hard to set out to make unintentionally-inspired music, ya know? If you’re trying not to try, you’re still trying, right? And then ya got that whole “when does a person get to claim to be a ‘veteran’ of the scene”? Shit, I dunno… I figure people knew if they were gonna buy this fucker before they read this, so I can love this, hate this, or not really give a shit and sell it for a pack of gum, right?
