Forbidden Fruit (Noise)

I never really paid much mind to these fellas, perhaps finding them a little too prog and fruity for my tastes which certainly dip into warbling classic heavy metal, but stop shy of fusion boogie or jazz flirtations or whatnot. But while there’s a fuckin’ ballad here (“I Believe”) and a couple of those stuttering time signature things Fates Warning impresses Rush fans with (the title track and “Masquerade”), most of the rest is fist-bangin’ good times and there’re even a few double-bass thunders with scorching Yngwie-esque solos burning a hole in the heavens so we can put a foot up on something, point at it and bellow “Lookout! The sky is falling dowwwwwn!”
