Hmmm… Inkling has improved dramatically since their last full-length. The screamer finally learned how to sing, the guitarists took a few lessons from The Dillinger Escape Plan, and the copycat Deftones/Far vibe has evaporated. With help from producer Brian McTernan, Inkling is now a much more powerful math metal band that also just happens to know how to write emo songs. They can get out-of-hand if they feel like it, and they can pull it all back and relax with some mellow noodling. Keep up the progression, guys!
