Snuff – Blue Gravy: Phase 9 – Review

Snuff

Blue Gravy: Phase 9 (Fat)
by Tim Den

Everyone’s gotta know what Snuff sounds like by now… And if you know what they sound like, chances are you probably love them. How can you not? They’ve got that “we write the same album over and over again” problem, but we forgive them because – as with fellow greats like NOFX and ALL – it’s just as fun and enjoyable each time. Snuff’s got the earnest-man-crying-lead-tears kind of singing, backed by the occasional Hammond organ and trumpet (aside from the blazing guitars, of course) that can instantaneously create a party. It’s touching but rowdy, it’s working class but charismatic… it’s fucking Snuff. Shut up and worship.
